Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to credit packs purchased on Quran Sheikh Finder, operated by QURAN IDENTIFIER. We sell one-off scan credit packs only — there are no recurring subscriptions to cancel.
How our credits work
- Every signed-in account gets 1 free scan per day.
- You can buy additional scan credits in packs (currently 50 or 200 credits).
- Each successful identification consumes 1 credit. Free daily scans are used first.
- Credits are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.

30-day money-back guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on credit packs. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a refund within 30 days of your order date.
How to request a refund
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Gumroad. To request a refund:
- Open your Gumroad receipt email, or visit your Gumroad library using the email you used at checkout.
- Use the "Contact seller" option on the order to request a refund, or reply directly to the receipt email.
- You can also contact us through the in-app support channels and we will help facilitate the request.
Partially used credit packs
Because credits are spent oldest-pack-first, the pack you are requesting a refund on is usually the one most credits have already been drawn from. We handle these case-by-case using the following scenarios as a guide:
- 0% used (untouched pack) — full refund within 30 days, no questions asked. The entire pack is removed from your balance.
- 1–25% used — pro-rated refund for the unused portion. Example: on a 50-credit pack with 10 credits spent, you receive a refund for the remaining 40 credits at the per-credit price you paid.
- 26–75% used — pro-rated refund at our discretion. We may ask a short question about what isn't working so we can fix it before refunding.
- Over 75% used — refunds are not normally granted, since the pack has substantially been consumed. Exceptions are made for clear service faults (e.g. a sustained outage on our side).
Once a refund is issued, the corresponding credits — and any remaining credits in the refunded pack — are removed from your account immediately. Free daily scans are not affected.
Service-fault refunds
If credits were consumed because of a confirmed bug or outage on our end (for example a successful identification was billed twice, or the result was clearly wrong due to a server error), we will re-credit your account at no charge — this is the default remedy and is faster than a money refund. If you prefer a money refund for those specific credits instead, contact us within 30 days of the incident.
Fraud and unauthorized purchase disputes
If you believe a credit pack was purchased on your account without your authorization (for example a family member used your card, your Gumroad account was compromised, or you don't recognise the charge):
- Contact us immediately through the in-app support channel and include the Gumroad order ID from the receipt email.
- We will freeze the affected credits on your account while we investigate so they cannot be spent further.
- We work with Gumroad to verify the purchase. If the transaction is confirmed unauthorized, Gumroad will issue a full refund and we will remove the credits.
- We strongly recommend also contacting your card issuer and enabling two-factor authentication on your Gumroad account.
Reporting suspected fraud quickly is the single most important factor in getting a full recovery.
Chargebacks
A chargeback is when you ask your bank or card issuer to reverse a charge directly, rather than going through Gumroad or us. We understand that chargebacks are sometimes necessary, but please contact us first — almost every refund-eligible situation can be resolved within a few hours through the steps above, without involving your bank.
When a chargeback is filed against a Quran Sheikh Finder credit pack:
- The associated credits — including any already spent from that pack — are removed from your account as soon as we are notified by Gumroad.
- The account may be temporarily suspended from new purchases while the dispute is open. Free daily scans usually remain available unless we detect ongoing abuse.
- We may submit evidence to your bank (purchase logs, IP address, timestamps, scan history) showing the credits were delivered and used.
- If the chargeback is later reversed in our favour, the account is reinstated and we will offer to restore the credits or issue an in-app refund.
- Repeated or abusive chargebacks (filing a chargeback after substantial use of the credits, or after a refund was already declined for a valid reason) may result in permanent termination of the account under our Terms of Service.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method by Gumroad. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer, typically 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued in the original currency of the purchase; any difference caused by exchange-rate movements between purchase and refund is set by your card issuer, not by us or by Gumroad.
