1. Who we are

This service ("Quran Sheikh Finder", the "Service") is operated by QURAN IDENTIFIER("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you are entering into an agreement with QURAN IDENTIFIER.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction or have authority to bind the organization on whose behalf you act.

3. The service

Quran Sheikh Finder lets users record or upload short audio of Quranic recitation and uses audio fingerprinting and AI to identify the reciter (sheikh), the surah, and the ayah range. Results are provided on a best-effort basis and may be inaccurate.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes, fraud, or to send spam.
  • Infringe any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties.
  • Upload audio you do not have the right to use.
  • Attempt to interfere with or compromise the security of the Service (malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering).
  • Resell, redistribute, or circumvent technical limits (such as scan quotas).

5. Account & credentials

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

6. AI-generated results

Identification results are generated by automated audio matching and AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You are responsible for how you use any output and for verifying it before relying on it. The Service is not a substitute for qualified religious or scholarly advice.

7. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the Service, including software, design, branding, and documentation. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your selected plan. Quranic text and audio recordings remain the property of their respective owners.

8. User content

You retain ownership of audio you upload. You grant us a limited license to host and process this content solely to provide the Service (including running it through identification providers).

9. Credits, payment and refunds

The Service operates on a credit-based model:

  • Every signed-in account receives 1 free scan per day.
  • Additional usage is purchased as one-off scan credit packs. Each successful identification consumes 1 credit, and free daily scans are used first.
  • Purchased credits are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.
  • We do not sell recurring subscriptions. There is nothing to cancel — unused credits simply expire after 365 days.

Checkout is processed by our payment provider Gumroad, which handles payment, applicable taxes, and receipts. Payment terms are governed by the Gumroad Terms of Service and our Refund Policy.

10. Service availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable period.

12. Warranties & liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where prohibited by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which QURAN IDENTIFIER resides. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
