Trust
Trust & safety at RecitID
Last updated
RecitID handles Quranic text and audio. That carries a higher standard than a typical app. This page documents how we protect the integrity of what we display, how we handle reports, and what we will never do.
Text integrity
Every ayah we display is verified against the Uthmani Mushaf and the Tanzil corpus before render. If verification fails, the verse is suppressed and only the surah/ayah numbers are shown.
Reciter representation
Reciter pages are factual: name, common spellings, vocal signature, and links to official archives. We do not editorialize on a reciter's skill, ranking, or religious authority.
Reporting an error
If you spot a misattributed recitation, an incorrect ayah range, or a typo in a translation, please email contact@quranidentifier.com with the scan ID. We review reports within 48 hours and publish corrections in the next deploy.
What we will never do
- Display AI-generated Quranic text.
- Show advertising on Quran study pages.
- Sell or share user audio with third parties.
- Issue or amplify religious rulings (fatwa).
- Rank reciters by religious merit.
Frequently asked
How do I report a wrong identification?
Email contact@quranidentifier.com with the scan ID (visible in your scan history). We review every report within 48 hours and publish corrections to the reciter index in the next release.
Do you show ads?
Never on Quran study pages. RecitID is funded by Pro subscriptions only. There are no banner ads, no interstitials, and no third-party tracking pixels on study or recitation pages.
